Planting was aquired and dug up by A. Landefeld from a private grove in Turtle Creek, PA. The planting was dug up nicely, as even after being stored for a night, it was still full of life. I was also given a rhyzome, which I planted in a pot on the same day.

I was given a cut pole from the grove. It was 2 inches in diameter and quite huge. I've never seen bamboo this big before.
